Apartment SAN MARTIN is a luxury daily rental apartment in San Sebastian at the very heart of the city, located in an elegant fin de siècle building just one street away from the world famous La Concha beach.

This rental apartment in San Sebastian, with elevator access, is on the 3rd Floor of a beautifully restored sandstone building a short walking distance from all the main tourist attractions the city has to offer: the Old Town, with it’s incredible selection of Tapas (Pintxos in Basque) bars, the port, the beach, a shopping area with everything from exclusive little boutiques to the large food market, the Aquarium, the cutting edge architecture of La Kursaal (San Sebastian’s answer to the Guggenheim), the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd, dozens of pubs, clubs, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, etc., and you don’t even need a car!

This luxury apartment was completely modernized and refurbished in 2008.

It boasts:

A bright, spacious open-plan sitting room/Kitchen& dining area: with a table that can seat up to 10, that also contains a comfortable double sofa-bed. An LCD 32” TV, DVD and sound system.
A large picture window.

The main bedroom: is equipped with a double bed, two bedside tables with reading lamps, a wardrobe and balcony, from which you can see the beach to your right.

The second room: has a double bed, two night tables with reading lamps, and a wardrobe.

The third room: has two single beds, two night tables with reading lamps, and a wardrobe.

The fourth room  has two single beds, two night tables with reading lamps, a wardrobe and a large window.

There are two beautifully designed bathrooms with large walk in showers, two sinks each equipped with a grand mirror that covers much of the wall.

The kitchen:  is full of the latest mod-cons, fridge freezer, Ceramic hob, oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker, electric mixer, iron….

The apartment is decorated with art by well-known local artists to give it a friendly air.

Other than the bathrooms and kitchen, the apartment has solid wood flooring.

It has hot water on tap (24 hours) and a heating system you can adjust yourself with the thermostat. Air-conditioning is not necessary in San Sebastian but the apartment is equipped with fans.

You will enjoy the free wi-fi internet access and free local and national telephone calls all included. The apartment is cleaned for your arrival and has bedclothes and two towels per person. Linens are changed for stays longer than three days. Pets are welcome.

You won’t need a car to get around SS thanks to the fantastic central location of this apartment, where access to all of the wonderful tourist sights and experiences are easy to get to on foot. A 5 minute walk along the beach gets you into the Old Town.

Parking:

This area of town has a warden controlled parking system so if you do have a car these are your options:

From 8 in the evening to 9 the next morning (and all day on Sundays) it’s free to park on the surrounding streets.

You can also leave it in a nearby neighbourhood parking garage just a block away. This is staffed continually from 7am to 12 midnight (although it closes for lunch on Sundays) and you simply leave your keys with the car. The garage staff have been serving the neighbourhood for 40 years. You will have to book in advance in the summer as we are so near the beach. When you rent with us, they offer a special discount of 18 Euros a day per car: larger people movers or vans are charged at 20 Euros a day.

The apartment is a 5 minute taxi ride from the main Train and Bus stations.

Airports:

·The closest airport is Fuenterrabía – EAS about 12 miles (17km) away.

·Biarritz – BIQ airport is 40 minutes drive and has Ryanair flights from Dublin and London.

·Bilbao – BIO is 99 km away, about 60 minutes drive or you can get a comfortable bus every hour to San Sebastian.
